I’ve created a PHP driven website. I’ve formatted my laptop and using Windows 7, Dreamweaver CS4 and XAMPP.
- You can use one of the popular Apache / PHP / MySQL packages that you install on your computer like XAMPP or MAMP. Or you can use a site that is created through a web hosting company like 1&1, or DreamHost. Most people tend to use a local testing server in the beginning.

- From defining a Dreamweaver site to creating a basic master / detail page set, we will examine the basic building blocks of dynamic website development and how to use a MySQL database. Before you get started developing a dynamic site or using a database, there are a few things you will need to get ready: - You will need a server for testing - this can be a local web server that you set up on.
The problem I’ve got is that Dreamweaver isn’t displaying includes in Dreamweaver Design View. However, localhost is displays fine. I need to see the website in Design View in Dreamweaver so I can change CSS and Text etc.
Here are the settings I’ve got.
Ok so I have XAMPP running MYSQL and Apache on my computer. I'm trying to set up this localhost so I can get dreamweaver to auto code the login stuff for me for my website. Problem is Dreamweaver doesn't detect the tables in the database? I have the testing folder same as the site folder under htdocs. Rich dad, poor dad pdf free download. I understand that's the first step.
