EDDM Retail Discount Program Begins August 1, 2020
The United States Postal Service's EDDM ® program allows you to have your postcards delivered to individual neighborhoods, using carrier routes. You identify the carrier routes and control the drop date and the USPS delivers directly to every door on the route. Postal Customer. When using EDDM ® Business Mail Entry you will need to apply for a permit at your post office, or use your Mail Service Providers permit.

Current Guidelines for the EDDM Retail Discount Program
n Customers can send up to 5,000 pieces per day per ZIP Code™.
n Customers don’t need to purchase a permit to use the approved Every Door Direct Mail — Retail indicia.
n Customers can pay online or at the local Post Office where they submit their mailing.
n All EDDM Retail orders must be finalized and paid in full within the discount period (August 1 – September 30, 2020) to receive the 10 percent reduction in postage.
