- If this describes your use of Screen Sharing, Stefan Klieme's ScreenSharingMenulet aims to make such connections easier by providing a menu-bar menu that lists any computers on your local network.
- Mac OS X: ScreenSharingMenulet gives you easy access to local, remote, and Back to My Mac VNC servers directly from your OS X menubar. It's customizable, lightweight, and completely necessary.
ScreenSharingMenulet: I often connect other workstations at my home using screen sharing. This little utility adds a drop-down menu which will show you all the workstations that you can share the screen of. This cuts down the steps needed to find the workstation and start a screen sharing session. IStat Menus is an advanced Mac system monitor app for your Menu Bar. Safar ki dua mp3 free download.

10.5 users may be interested to know that vncloc shortcuts can be added to ~/Library/Favorites when you connect to the host in the Finder's Go/cmd-K window by typing vnc://hostname and click on the '+' add icon.
The vncloc files in ~/Library/Favorites and the folder itself can be used in the ways described in the hint and editor's note (drag to dock, use with keyboard launcher, etc).
You can also make a bookmark in Safari with the syntax 'vnc://hostname' as the address. This will get picked up by Spotlight as a 'web page' and will launch Screen Sharing when selected from Spotlight's results.
Users of JollyFastVNC (a superb VNC client) can use the Safari bookmark method by changing the protocol to 'jfvnc://'
[edit: me make grammar bad. me fix]
It uses the same vnc:// syntax mentioned in the previous comment.
Screen Sharing Menulet
TUAW had this tip last October (http://www.tuaw.com/2009/10/18/mac-101-add-screen-sharing-folder-to-dock-for-quick-access/). Note that Screensharingmenulet does NOT allow you to access BTMM computers if you use this feature of .Mac. However, the vncloc file to directly access your BTMM computer is saved within the ~/Library/Application Support/Screen Sharing folder, making it a superior option for this purpose.

You can also click, hold and drag out the icon in the Screen Sharing session's title bar to your desktop or dock.
The resulting icon acts as an alias to the screen sharing session; you can launch from it as well.

This is a wonderful hint. I added the Folder to my Quicksilver Catalogue. Better than adding it to the Dock.
